UIA Scholarship Program
Scholarship Sponsored by Utah Independent Agents
Introduction The Utah Independent Agents (UIA) will award at least three scholarships for 2024, each valued between $1,000 and $3,000, to graduating Utah high school seniors. (In 2024 UIA awarded thirteen scholarships.) Who is eligible Applicants must be Utah high school seniors with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Candidates should also demonstrate participation in extracurricular activities through their school, church, community, or employment. Financial information Financial need will be taken into account. All applicants must submit the required financial information form along with the scholarship application. Information provided on this form will be treated as confidential. Transcripts and photo A current academic transcript must be received by the application deadline. If your school sends transcripts separately, it is your responsibility to ensure they arrive at the UIA office on time. Applications submitted without transcripts will not be considered. Please include a recent photo with your application; the photo will not be returned and may be used in news releases or other publicity if you are selected.
