Scholarship Categories and Award Values

Missouri Thespians awards scholarships in multiple categories for graduating seniors, with specified numbers of recipients and award amounts. Categories include Performance, Technical Theatre, Theatre Education, and Theatre for Life. Each applicant may apply to only one scholarship category, and troupe-level caps govern how many students may be entered in each category. Awards are presented at the state conference.

Award Value: Performance scholarships: up to 4 recipients at $1,000 each. Technical Theatre scholarships: up to 3 recipients at $1,000 each. Theatre Education scholarships: up to 2 recipients at $1,000 each. Theatre for Life: one $1,000 recipient and up to four $100 finalists.
