Ruth I. Michler Memorial Prize
Scholarship Sponsored by Association For Women in Mathematics
The AWM's Ruth I. Michler Memorial Prize is an annual award given to a woman who has recently been promoted to the position of Associate Professor or a similar role in the field of mathematical sciences. The award offers a fellowship that allows the recipient to spend a semester at Cornell University's Mathematics Department, free from teaching responsibilities. This is particularly beneficial for newly promoted Associate Professors who are navigating the challenges of increased leadership in research and their profession.
The Ruth I. Michler Memorial Prize aims to recognize and support exceptional women at this pivotal point in their careers, providing them with the opportunity to concentrate on their research within the dynamic setting of Cornell University's Mathematics Department.
Application Window: August 15 to October 1
