IEA Founders College Scholarship Awards
Scholarship Sponsored by Interscholastic Equestrian Association
Every year during the IEA National Final matches, the IEA distributes over $25,000 in scholarship funds to the seniors who score the highest and second highest in the Individual classes at the National Finals.
The scholarships are presented to the top two seniors from each individual rider category during the Nationals. The following is the breakdown of scholarship amounts for each class:
In Dressage:
- Open Test ($1000 for first place, $500 for second)
- Open DSE ($1000/$500)
- Intermediate Test ($600/$300)
- Intermediate DSE ($600/$300)
- Novice Test ($500/$250)
- Novice DSE ($500/$250)
- Beginner DSE WTC ($500/$250)
- Beginner DSE WT ($500/$250)
In Western:
- Open Horsemanship ($1000/$500)
- Open Reining ($1000/$500)
- Intermediate Horsemanship ($600/$300)
- Intermediate Reining ($600/$300)
- Novice Horsemanship ($500/$250)
- Novice Ranch Riding ($500/$250)
- Beginner Horsemanship WJL ($500/$250)
- Beginner Horsemanship WJ ($500/$250)
In Hunt Seat:
- Varsity Open Championship ($1100/$550)
- Open Flat ($1000/$500)
- Open Fences ($1000/$500)
- Intermediate Flat ($600/$300)
- Intermediate Fences ($600/$300)
- Novice Flat ($500/$250)
- Novice Fences ($500/$250)
- Beginner Flat WTC ($500/$250)
