In 2014, the Disability Scholarship was launched as a testament to our law firm's dedication to supporting students with disabilities or injuries who require financial aid for their education.
This scholarship is open to students of all ages, irrespective of their disability type. This includes, but is not limited to, physical disabilities, medical conditions, mental or psychiatric conditions, speech and language impairments, learning disabilities, behavioral conditions, and all other disabling conditions.
Our scholarship selection committee will grant $1,000 to one deserving student.
Eligibility Criteria for the Disability Scholarship
The following requirements must be met by all applicants:
- The recipient must be a U.S. citizen and enrolled in an accredited college or university within the United States
- Must have a disability diagnosis from a qualified professional
- Must have completed at least one semester of classes at an accredited college or university.
Application Process for the Disability Scholarship
To apply for the Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. 2025 Disability Scholarship Program, applicants must submit the following documents by October 1, 2025:
- A filled-out scholarship application form. (Found at the bottom of the page)
- A one-page typed essay detailing how you overcame challenges posed by your disability and the lessons you learned from the experience.
- An official or unofficial transcript from an accredited college or university showing your most recent semester
- Proof of disability diagnosis from a qualified professional.
