Boettcher Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Boettcher Foundation
The Foundation's Scholarship Program is designed to foster the potential of Colorado residents and contribute to the state's future. It operates under two distinct models.
Model 1: Covering the Cost of Attendance
Under this model, scholars are granted a fixed annual sum of $20,000 from Boettcher for a period of four years. The participating institutions then utilize their own resources, merit-based aid, and/or need-based aid (or a combination of these) to cover the total cost of attendance for each scholar, excluding travel and other expenses. The institutions that follow this model include Adams State University, Colorado Mesa University, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, Colorado State University Pueblo, Fort Lewis College, Metropolitan State University of Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Colorado Colorado Springs, University of Colorado Denver, University of Northern Colorado, and Western Colorado University.
Model 2: Tuition & Fees Coverage
Under this model, scholars also receive a fixed annual sum of $20,000 from Boettcher for a period of four years. However, the partner institutions use their own resources, merit-based aid, and/or need-based aid (or a combination of these) to cover the total amount of tuition and fees for each scholar. The institutions that follow this model are Colorado Christian University, Colorado College, Regis University, and University of Denver.
